when the warning light flickers

I haven’t felt well the past couple of days. Nothing major. Just weariness and a minor cold. I slept twelve hours last night and will soon go to bed for another eight hours tonight. While others revel in the festivities of the season, I simply want to get well so I can regain my energy. I know my limits. If I push them, then I will have to deal with a more serious form of illness. So, I plan to do the right thing and let my body rest while also trusting God to heal.

What warning indicators are flickering in your life? Are you overly tired? Irritable? Depressed? Ill? Heed those indicators and do the right thing to help yourself. Ignoring them does nobody any good, not least you. For my part, I now end this post to go sleep.

The next move is yours.
